On a very rare occasion I may have an adult dog who is ready for a family to love them just as I have!

She is nearing her first agility title (2 of 3 Q's in novice jumps with weaves), her CA (coursing ability) title, and FCAT (high level fast cat) title.

She is nearing her first agility title (2 of 3 Q's in novice jumps with weaves), her CA (coursing ability) title, and FCAT (high level fast cat) title.
Opal is looking for a fitting retirement companion home that will love and care for her for the rest of her life. 💙 She is already spayed.
Opal is an AKC Grand Champion with several other titles and close to earning 3 more titles (in agility and lure coursing)! Opal has been a Junior Showmanship dog in both AKC and UKC for the past year or more. With a confident junior handler, she can continue her adventures as a junior showmanship dog. She prefers children 8 years and older, so please no younger children. She may also love to continue learning agility and trialing as she has a good foundation to work on. She is VERY food motivated! Opal is reserved with strangers at first but warms up with time as is typical of many herding breeds. She can be protective of her home/yard to people and dogs she doesn't know. Opal LOVES being outside and camping/hiking! Opal knows some tricks and would enjoy learning new ones! She has a very fluffy coat and is very tolerable of grooming from all her experience showing! If she finds a home close enough to me, I can help groom her or teach you if interested. She is a lower energy girl with bursts of energy! She has had extensive health testing done, recent blood work, and no health concerns currently. She is already spayed and was born in February of 2016.
***To recap, Opal would love a home to spoil her and love her as I do! She would prefer that her main caretaker be a female. She prefers children 8 and older – no younger children, please.
***I would personally love to see her go to a home within a reasonable drive of West Jordan, Utah as I hope to visit her in the future! I will dearly miss Opal!
